Newport Hospital’s annual gala and live auction “Under the Tuscan Sky” took place on July 12, 2012, at Ochre Court in Newport. The event raised more than $365,000 and was attended by 325 guests and supporters of Newport Hospital.

There were many wonderful auction items, including a Dragon Red Vespa and a vacation at a Tuscan villa. The proceeds from the auction and blitz will be used to purchase new patient monitoring equipment to help emergency department staff provide better, safer care.

This event showcased an outpouring of community support by the generous donors, employees, physicians, medical staff and all the dedicated volunteers who worked so hard to make this event such a success.
