Physician Liaison Services

Newport Hospital provides a valuable communication resource to the medical staff, community practices, and referral sources throughout its service area by maintaining the Community Practice Liaison Program.

The goal of the program is to continually improve the support and service we provide to physicians and other clinical service providers, their office staff members, and their patients by facilitating open and timely communication.

The feedback that is shared with the liaison is highly valued by the hospital, and is regularly used in the evaluation and development of its services.

Our liaison services include:

• Prompt response to all reported problems, issues, or concerns
• Direct solicitation of feedback and suggestions
• Information and updates on hospital services
• Assistance with referrals
• Coordination of networking opportunities and events
