The expert pulmonologists at Newport Hospital treat disorders and diseases of the lungs and respiratory system. From diagnosis through treatment, a pulmonologist helps patients with common chronic conditions, such as asthma, as well as patients with complicated respiratory disease.

At Newport Hospital M. Yassin Hmadeh, MD, leads the division of pulmonary medicine, a field in which he is board certified. He evaluates and treat respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, pleural diseases, pulmonary hypertension and sleep disorders.
