One in six American men get prostate cancer, so Newport Hospital is offering free screenings to increase early diagnosis and treatment.
Free prostate cancer screening
Saturday, September 24, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Newport Hospital, Powel Avenue entrance
To receive a free screening, men must be at least 40 years old. However, African-American men, Hispanic men, and men with a family history of prostate cancer must be at least 35 years old.
The screening is free but an appointment is required. Please call the Newport Hospital education department at 845-1592 to schedule an appointment.
