People who smoke and want to quit are invited to a free information session at Newport Hospital about services to stop smoking. This program is conducted by certified, bilingual tobacco treatment specialists.

In this program, your smoking history will be assessed to determine a treatment plan, you will have individual or group sessions appropriate to your stage in the quitting process, and you will receive a recommendation for nicotine replacement (patch, lozenge or gum).

When: Tuesday, January 8, 5 p.m.

This program is sponsored by the Rhode Island Department of Health Tobacco Control Program.

This event is free and open to all. Please call 845-1548 for more information or to register.
