Planned giving is a way of making a charitable gift where some thought and some assistance are needed to complete the donation. The assistance can come from an attorney, stockbroker, tax advisor, insurance agent or gift planning officer.
You can use planned giving to provide meaningful support for Newport Hospital and carry on the tradition of philanthropy that supports our unyielding pursuit of excellence in patient care, respect of the individual, and the creation of a measurably healthier Newport County. Without this crucial support the hospital would not be able to provide the high level of care and commitment, for which we are renowned, to our patients and the community. Learn more
The Newport Hospital Founders Society was created in 1992 by the board of trustees as a way to recognize and show appreciation for the philanthropy of those who help Newport Hospital today, as well as pay tribute to our distinguished past. Each level of support offers unique opportunities for you to learn more about the hospital’s services, to be recognized for your generosity and to become involved in the life of Newport Hospital.
The greatest benefit of giving is knowing that your generosity helps our hospital be the best it can be with state of the art facilities and equipment, and an extraordinary team of practitioners. Thank you for being a part of our future! More about the Founders Society

Newport Hospital Foundation welcomes gifts of securities, which are easy to make with minimum delay and expense, with tax benefits to the donor. The effective date for establishing the gift value is the day the securities pass from the donor's control into ours. The value is the mean between the high and low quotations on that day, and will be so recorded and acknowledged by the foundation as the donor's contribution (before any fees are taken). To honor a loved one, families may specify that memorial contributions be made to Newport Hospital. Call the development office at 401-845-1536 for more information.
